Throughout these last brutal few months the Sievert family and friends have been comforted by the kind words, generosity and friendship offered by so many people.
There have been acts of kindness from strangers and support from so many others. Thank you all.
In particular, we’d like to thank Mr Jagpal, Steve and family from the Top Shops, Imaan health care at New Marske Pharmacy, Andy Levy Body Repairs as well as Carolyn and Alan from the Yorkshire Lass for siting our first four defibrillators.
Also thanks to Coopers at Marske and Gosneys at Saltburn for agreeing to site our next two.
New Marske, Marske and Saltburn Parish Council have been extremely supportive – thank you to Tracy and the councillors.
Marty Chapman of F R Safety and Training has helped with training, advice and the purchasing of the defibrillators. Thank you.
To Mark and Andy from A and M Electrical Contractors for installing all of the boxes – amazing work – thank you.
To Chris and his team for the wonderful stickers from Graphic Solutions, Redcar.
To friends who gifted us a spare defibrillator, which is now available at the local primary school – to Mr Dooris and staff and pupils for their support and kindness.
To Rachel for running her legs off and to everyone who donated through our crowd funding campaign as well as others who have given money to the ‘Be Like Tom’ account and to those who anonymously have put envelopes through our door.
Many many thanks go to Beryl Frank and the lovely ladies from the sewing group Knot who have donated over £500 to Be Like Tom.
Thanks go to staff and friends at Kirkleatham museum who supported us during the Victorian Christmas fair where we made over £1000.
To the Rotary Club of Saltburn for a wonderful Christmas dinner and the opportunity to share with them our hopes and dreams for the future.
Thank you all.
The generosity continues unabated…. Beryl and her sewing friends from Knot in Guisbrough have given us a fantastic donation. Many thanks.
Kirkleatham museum staff have kindly supported our craft tombola at the recent Victorian christmas weekend.
Carolyn and Alan from the Yorkshire lass have a Christmas hamper raffle behind the bar… Buy your tickets there… And why not enjoy a lovely Sunday dinner at the same time?
. And so it continues, Djenanne and her drama group have donated a fantastic five hundred pounds, as have the wimpey development in Saltburn. The kindness and generosity of friends and strangers means so much and thank you never seems enough. With all of your help we will reach our target of 35……
Yesterday marked six months since we lost our big lad….. The days have often been dark but fund raising has given the family a focus and a quick calculation yesterday brings us to the ten thousand pounds raised so far. A rough costing is about two thousand pounds for each defib. So we need to raise another sixty thousand for the 35 we intend to install. With your help and kindness we will do it x thank you all x
